FEDERAL:
Certain offences are violations of Federal law as opposed to state or local law and are recorded in a US District Court. US District Courts are divided by geographical region with each state. Federal violations generally do not appear in statewide or county records. These violations include, but are not limited to, embezzlement, money laundering, kidnapping, counterfeiting, wire fraud, possession/distribution of an illegal controlled substance, and crimes committed across state lines. You provide the state and the county and we will determine the US District Court to be searched.

STATE:
State criminal searches provide information on higher level infractions (Felonies and Misdemeanor Convictions). Statewide searches check the statewide repository as reported by each county. Not all counties report to the state.

If your state is not listed, we will inform you and you will have a county search performed instead. Also some state records may reflect an arrest, but may not indicate the disposition. In such cases, county records would need to be checked as well.
Reports Searched Back 7- 20 Years Depending on state.

COUNTY:
County criminal searches provide information resulting from arrests on Felony and Misdemeanor offences. This search is conducted at the county level where a subject is most likely to have any information filed.

Some county searches require a search of multiple courts depending on the court structure of individual county. These records do not include expunged, sealed or juvenile convictions.
Reports Searched Back 7- 10 Years Depending on jurisdiction.
